Reducing the Supply

 

  • 1. a pilot project partnering with mozambique traditional healers association has been undertaken to reduce the supply of body parts
  • 2. work with this association has involved developing a new code of conduct wich states that the use of human body parts blood or tissue in traditional medicine is prohibited
  • 3. distribution of the new code of conduct in one province in mozambique where more than 4000 traditional healers attended workshops and training from this association officials
  • 4. the pilot partnership has created the opportunity for the message to be disseminated to the entire membership of this association
